I am the Academic Director for Data Science & Analytics at Kaplan Business School, where I lead the strategic direction of the discipline across six national campuses. With a PhD in Engineering & Computer Science from The Australian National University and CSIRO, I combine executive academic governance with deep technical expertise to bridge the gap between advanced research and applied educational strategy.
My work focuses on:
- Strategic Leadership: Overseeing the academic governance, quality assurance, and reaccreditation of Master’s programs to align with industry demands and regulatory compliance. I provide scientific leadership to faculty and manage discipline resources to foster a culture of high performance.
- Research & Grant Success: Leading technical authorship for competitive grant proposals, securing over A$420,000 in external funding from bodies like the Australian Research Council and CSIRO. My research in cybersecurity and IoT has resulted in 23+ peer-reviewed papers and global collaborations with institutions such as Princeton University.
- AI Innovation: Directing internal digital transformation initiatives, such as AI-enabled learning analytics systems, to scale student support. This work was recognized with the Kaplan Global Award for excellence in AI-driven continuous transformation.
